Buschetta is one of those simple and incredible preparations. And the details make all the difference: you have to use the tomato seasoning (which must be ripe), toast the bread lightly and give that good rub with the garlic clove.

1 small baguette

2 large ripe tomatoes

1 clove of garlic

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 sprigs of basil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (medium temperature).

Cut the baguette into 1 cm slices.

Arrange the slices on a large baking sheet, next to each other and bake for about 10 minutes until they are crispy and lightly browned.

Wash, dry and cut the tomatoes in half.

Discard the seeds and cut each half into 0.5 cm cubes.

Transfer the tomatoes to a bowl, add the basil leaves and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix gently.

Peel the garlic clove.

To assemble the bruschettas: rub the garlic clove over each toast and place a portion of the seasoned tomato.

Drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil and serve next.

You can not go wrong. Yummy and fast!
