Seasoning, a mixture of herbs forms a crunchy crust for the fish. It looks like a restaurant dish, but it is a FAST recipe, which you can even prepare for dinner on weekdays.


4 slices of salmon (without skin, about 150 g each)

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried rosemary

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dehydrated garlic

1 teaspoon of cumin seed

1 tablespoon of sweet paprika

1 teaspoon of salt



In a food processor, beat the herbs well with the spices, garlic and salt – these ingredients will form the crust and season the salmon.

If you prefer to chop finely thyme, rosemary, oregano, garlic and cumin seed and mix with the paprika and salt.

In a deep dish, place the seasoning mixture and coat the salmon portions on both sides.

Attention: do not cover the sides.
Bring a skillet to medium heat.

When heated, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of oil and place as many strips of salmon as possible, side by side, with the crust in contact with the frying pan.

Let it brown, without stirring, for about 3 minutes.

With a tongs, turn gently and let it cook for another 3 minutes – the idea is to get a very crunchy shell and leave a narrow strip in the fish crumb practically raw.

Transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest, basting the skillet with olive oil with each batch.
