How about innovating with this unusual recipe called “the hidden pepperoni” ? Everyone will love it!
400g of cooked potato
½ cup fresh cream
500g pepperoni sausage
1 chopped onion
3 crushed garlic cloves
½ cup of red wine
400g (1 can) of chopped peeled tomatoes
100g of grated Parmesan cheese
Knead the cooked potato until it becomes a puree.
Add the cream, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
Cut the sausage into cubes and set aside.
In a hot frying pan, place a drizzle of olive oil and sauté the sausage until golden brown.
Add the onion, sauté until golden and then add the garlic and sauté for another minute.
Add the red wine and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the peeled tomatoes, season with salt, black pepper, rosemary leaves and cook for 10 minutes.
In a refractory, arrange the sausage and cover with the mashed potato.
Finish with the grated Parmesan cheese and place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes or until the cheese is browned.
